Greater Pittsburgh Dalmatian Club- minutes from Jan 24,2010 meeting held at Eat N Park   Robinson Twp,Pa.
 
1pm meeting called to order by President Kathy Wetzel
Members and guests present:  Kathy Wetzel, Nancy Cummerick, Pat Cummerick, Cindy Kulikowski,  Chris Aranowski,, Debbie Poole, Allison Poole, Rose Lyons, Paul Lyons, Shelly Caldwell, Kim Mellen & Tammy Boice


Treasurer’s Report – Nancy Cummerick

Reports for December & January were read, with beginning balances, disbursements, receipts, and ending balances. Reports filed for audit. 


Corresponding Secretary – Tammy Boice will now be in charge of the upkeep or our blog & webiste. She requests that any dal related items be sent to her regarding this(pictures, news about your dog, awards or anything special your pal has done).  It was also suggested that all club members have club business cards to pass out for people interested in our club with our website,etc.  Tammy Boice also suggested maybe each club member could write a background of themselves & dals & how they got started in the club.  Great idea Tammy!!  Please everyone lets help Tammy to make our club have a great website.


Committee Reports – Chris Aranowski will reserve the grove for our funday at Settlers Cabin. The exact date of our funday will be announced at a later date but possible August 29 or September 12,2010.

 

                                         The club will be advertising our specialty in the online magazine for 3 months at the price of $90.00. Cindy Kulikowski voted in favor & Tammy Boice 2nd the motion.  Motion passed.

 

                                          The raffel for our specialty will be handled by Kim Melen & Allison Poole. The funday raffel will be handled by Rose Lyons & Allison Poole.  Cindy Kulikowski will be chief ring steward for the specialty which will be held  Friday June 25,2010.


Nominating Committee – Chris Aranowski was nominated for President, Rose Lyons for Board Member. The votes will be held at the next meeting.


Next meeting will be held Sunday, March 7,2010 1PM, This meeting will probably be held at the Excel center in Bethel Park,pa.  check website for directions. This meeting will be in regards to our St Patrick's Day parade so bring your dogs, wear your green & lets have some fun.

 


New Business: Dues are now due-- $20 individual & $25 for family.  Shelly Caldwell has offered to do Canine Good Citizen test at our funday to earn some extra money for our club. We will discuss this at the meeting in March.

 


Tickets will be available for the 101 Dalmatian (Heinz Hall), May 18-23, 2010 performances. More details will be announced when available.
